Job Description

Develop and execute sales strategies with our smaller customers to attain strategic and financial goal set by corporate objectives.
Provide sales support to our independent aftermarket (IAM) customers, the service business of our Original Equipment Manufacturer customers and the dealer networks of our OES customers
Execute responsibilities using phone, e-mail and other technologies to provide excellent service to assigned customers.
Ability to work independently with customers including; Owners, VP of Parts, Operations and Store Directors, Parts Managers, Purchasing and Marketing Directors, Product Managers, Outside Sales and Counter personnel.
Manage assigned business to achieve revenue and profit goals.

Job Responsibilities:


Accounts:100-200 IMA and OES customers
Scope:Sales of multiple brands across a current base of 14 key Aftermarket product lines.
Financial:$8-15M Revenue
Ability to travel: 5-10% overnight travel

Duties and Responsibilities:
Creates and implements territory sales plans to achieve business unit revenue and profit targets.
Good problem solving skills, professional presence and experienced consultative sales skills
High level of technical knowledge of brake, wheel end, drivetrain, steering and suspension product lines.
A desire to pursue continuing education on products, tools and processes.
Good computer skills and the ability to utilize Sales Force and other technical tools to execute responsibilities.
Research market for competitive information to assure competitiveness within territory.
Coordinate with Meritor Production Drive Force team to serve the market.

Job Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree required or high school diploma with minimum of 1 year related experience required
•Aftermarket sales experience required
•MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required
•Experience in the markets served by Meritor, Meritor products and field sales experience.
•Demonstrated product and technical aptitude highly preferred
•Salesforce software experience preferred
