Job Description


The Global Lead, Process Excellence (ISC) is a key role within Meritor's Global Procurement Organization. The role will be responsible for representing Global Supply Chain, as a functional lead, to understand, develop and deploy processes necessary to meet functional and business requirements. This role involves a combination of responsibilities including collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders and leadership to understand requirements and translate into actions required for Global Supply Chain execution. Additionally, this role will act as lead for the Process Organization workstream of the M2022 Supply Chain Transformation Project; creating and deploying a Procurement Operating System (POS) centered upon a maturing Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) culture.

Job Responsibilities:

•Provide a lead for all Supply Chain teams in planning and execution processes including S&OP
•Lead the organization workstream of the M2022 supply-chain digital transformation project
•Work with cross functional teams and contractor teams to establish and execute deployment plans
•Lead project workshops and meetings as required
•Develop and deploy the Global Procurement Operating System (POS)
•Map process flows and procedures so that simplification is obtained and operational efficiencies are gained
•Standardize global processes wherever possible, localize wherever necessary
•Create clearly defined and mutually agreeable success metrics for each new system or process and establish a plan to track, monitor, and measure the success of those processes
•Develop POS task-boards, audits and tools to measure progress and adherence to processes
•Drive supply-chain continuous improvement and change management with ISC and local supply-chain teams
•Use a collaborative ‘Plan-Do-Check-Act’ approach to ISC projects by: 1) Measuring the process and questioning the capability and quality, 2) Defining the problem statement, 3) Performing a gap analysis between the business expectation and current process performance, 4) Standardizing solutions around best practices, and 5) Repeating the steps for continuous improvement
•Align process design to digital supply-chain tools to enhance supply-chain innovations and solutions

Job Requirements


•Bachelor’s degree required, field of study includes: Business, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Engineering or Information Systems. MSC in Supply-Chain or MBA is desired.
•Experience with Commercial Vehicle/Automotive Aftermarket businesses preferred
•>7-10 years of experience in a discipline of Supply Chain Management or corporate strategy consulting experience required
•>3-5years experience planning, leading, and executing global supply chain initiatives required
•Experience of driving Continuous Process Improvements required
•Thorough understanding of S&OP/IBP required
•Solid understanding of supply chain operations, especially inventory control, planning, forecasting and scheduling required
•Strong change management and project management skills required
•IBF/APICS Certified (CPIM, CSCP) preferred
•Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
•Advance knowledge of, and experience in implementing, digital supply chain systems preferred
•Ability to travel 15-20% of time, perhaps more during global developments required
