Job Description

The Global Lead, Digital Supply Chain (ISC) is a key role within Meritor's Global Procurement Organization. The role will be responsible for representing Global Supply Chain, as a functional lead, to understand, develop and deploy tools, systems and software solutions necessary to meet functional and business requirements. This role involves a combination of responsibilities including collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders and leadership to understand requirements and translate into actions required for Global Supply Chain execution. Additionally, this role will act as lead for the Tools & Systems workstream of the M2022 Supply Chain Transformation Project; designing, configuring and deploying World-class supply-chain planning software and establishing synergies with Meritor’s existing Analytics/CRM platforms.

Job Responsibilities:

•Establish expertise and thought-leadership in Digital Supply Chain technologies, such as Supply Chain Planning Software, BI, CRM, IoT, Blockchain, ML and AI based on external collaboration and industry benchmarking
•Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop a long-term digital roadmap for Meritor’s global Supply Chain, aligned to Meritor’s business and IS strategy roadmaps
•Partner with Meritor’s IS Business Solutions group and contractor teams to lead, co-ordinate and implement the effective rollout and adoption of digital tools and solutions for the physical automation of supply chain processes, taking responsibility for roll out of the project to key Meritor sites
•Working alongside the ISC Process lead, align global process design and digital supply-chain tools to optimize the planning efficiencies and business performance
•Co-ordinate globally to avoid duplication of effort and solutions in Digital Supply Chain development
•Lead the Tools workstream of the M2022 supply-chain digital transformation project
•Develop communication deliverables to project partners
•Lead organizational change & readiness activities by ensuring deployment validation and transition of support processes
•Lead project workshops and training session as required
•Create clearly defined and mutually agreeable success metrics for each new system or tool and establish a plan to track, monitor, and measure the success of those tools
•Provide clear scope, prioritization, data governance, resource management and risk management across the Digital Supply Chain
•Ensure procedures and controls are developed, enhanced and maintained to manage data integrity, data standards and data reporting across the enterprise in support of the Procurement Operating System (POS)

Job Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree required, field of study within: Supply Chain Management, IS or related field; Master's desired
•3-5years experience planning, leading, and executing global initiatives in supply chain or information systems required
•Advanced knowledge of Digital Supply Chain technologies and ecosystems, emerging and innovative technologies and how these could apply to Digital Supply Chain Transformations required
•Knowledge of JDA and other relevant Supply Chain Planning Tools required
•Thorough understanding of S&OP/IBP concepts required
•Solid understanding of supply chain operations, especially inventory control, planning, forecasting and scheduling preferred
•Strong change management and project management skills required
•Ability to travel 15-20% of the time, perhaps more during global deployments required
•IBF/APICS Certified (CPIM, CSCP) preferred
•Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
•Experience in Oracle preferred
•Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
