Job Description

Cooperative Education Student who is pursuing an Associate Degree in electronics. The student works in support of the engineering department. This person will interface with engineering laboratories equipment, assist in instrumentation setups per team leader requests, monitor data collection on instrument setups and update schedules and log folders. The Co-op Student works under close supervision to learn about aspects of engineering that they can apply after graduation

Job Responsibilities:

•Perform calibrations on physical transducers and engineering laboratories test equipment.
• Assist in instrumentation setups per team leader requests.
• Fabricate transducers cables and wiring harnesses from detailed drawings.
• Monitor data collection on instrument test setups.
• Update calibration schedules and machine log test folders.

Job Requirements

• Working towards a Associates Degree in Electronics
• Familiar with personal computers and spreadsheet software packages.
• General electronic circuit and component knowledge.
• Familiar with the use of DVM’s oscilloscopes, and basic measurement equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and able to lift 50lbs
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to logically solve system problems.
